Turner Padget boosts Regulatory Practice with the addition of Jamey Goldin

Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A. announces the addition of James H. “Jamey” Goldin as a Columbia-based of counsel attorney in the firm’s Administrative and Regulatory Practice Group.

Jamey, the former South Carolina House of Representatives Chief Counsel to the Labor, Commerce and Industry Committee, will bolster the insurance regulation and litigation practices while also expanding the firm’s energy and utility practices.

“Jamey brings with him a unique skillset that will allow him to help businesses facing litigation while also offering the ability to secure beneficial law changes and counsel clients in their interactions with state agencies and regulators,” said R. Jamey served in various other roles around the Statehouse including Committee Counsel to the South Carolina Public Utilities Review Committee, as a screening attorney for the Judicial Merit Selection Commission, and as an attorney to the Review and Oversight Commission on the South Carolina Ports Authority.

Jamey earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the University of South Carolina.
