Greenville Health System (GHS) President and CEO Mike Riordan and Sam Konduros, executive director of the Greenville Health Research and Development Corporation (RDC), have been named two of Greenville Business Magazine’s 50 Most Influential People.

Riordan received the honor for his leadership in guiding the state’s largest health system through a rapidly changing healthcare environment that includes changes in how health care is funded and delivered. Riordan previously received this honor from Greenville Business Magazine in 2011 and 2014. Riordan has been president and CEO of GHS since 2006.

Konduros was honored for his work with the RDC, a 501(c)3 supporting organization of GHS focused on improving the health of the upstate community and beyond through development, implementation and use of medical and healthcare delivery advancements. Konduros has been the executive director of the RDC since 2014.

“The recognition of these two GHS executives speaks to the importance of a forward-thinking, innovative approach to health care for this community,” said Jim Morton, chair of the GHS Board of Trustees. “We are proud to have Mike and Sam on the GHS team and look forward to their continued work helping transform health care for the benefit of the communities we serve.”
