United Community Bank expands Greenville team with addition of Bill Durrell

United Community Bank welcomes Bill Durrell as Commercial Relationship Manager. Durrell brings more than 30 years of financial experience to his new role, and will be based out of United’s East North Street office.

Durrell started his banking career at First Union National Bank as Branch Manager and joins United from South State Bank where he served as a Commercial Banker. Other experiences include several years in managerial banking and financial roles that has allowed Durrell to have a broad background in all aspects of commercial banking. He also brings extensive experience in handling commercial and industrial finance, real estate finance, credit analysis and more.

Durrell resides in Greenville with his wife, Stacy and daughters Madeline, Katie and Mary Frances. He earned both a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University. Durrell has been active in the Risk Management Association’s Board of Directors and Habitat of Humanity.
