Upstate Women’s Show Holds Contest for Female Targeted Inventions

August 26th – 28th, 2010 –  The Upstate Women’s Show, a three-day annual event for women of allages, is looking for the Upstate’s most interesting products made specificallyfor women.

The Upstate Women’s Show, August 26 – 28, at theCarolinaFirstCenter inGreenville expects to draw more than 8,000attendees and 300 exhibiting companies. “It’s one big Shop fest and celebrationfor women,” said JBM & Associates President and Show Producer, JacquiBomar.

The goal of this contest is to feature a local entrepreneur and bringnotoriety to their product. Only inventors who reside in the Upstate areeligible for this contest. 

To participate, contestants must submit a creative video about theirproduct to [email protected]. Contestantsare encouraged to make their videos entertaining and have a good sense ofhumor.  Their product must serve apurpose and be unique.

The winner of the contest will receive free exhibit space at the 2010and 2011 Upstate Women’s Shows, product exposure on stage at the Show as wellas online at www.UpstateWomensShow.com.The winner will also be given a tiara to wear throughout the Show. 

All entries must bereceived by August 1st, 2010 and the winner will be contacted by theUpstate Women’s Show office by August 15th, 2010.
