Vom Fass Greenville Features “The Green Fairy” at its Anniversary Halloween Celebration

GREENVILLE, SC – Vom Fass Greenville, located at 4 Market Point Drive, is celebrating its One Year Anniversary this Halloween — Saturday, October 31st. Vom Fass, which means “from the cask,” is the Upstate’s premier gourmet shop for imported oils, vinegars, wines and spirits sold directly from the cask. The event is free to attend. The store is located inside The Point shopping center that houses Whole Foods on Woodruff Road.
The shop is famous for its samplings, where customers are welcome to taste a large variety of unique and unusual artisan products exclusive to Vom Fass. “Our one-year anniversary is a way to say thank you to all our customers over the past 12 months. We’ve enjoying teaching them about spirits, wine, oils and vinegars sourced directly from our premium European providers,” said Jean Brodnax-Martin, store owner.
“We thought we’d do something special for adults from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Halloween by sampling our 72 percent ABV Absinthe, the legendary liqueur (often called “The Green Fairy”) which was famous during the 1920s. It has a rich and mysterious history, and a gorgeous emerald green color, and was even banned in the U.S. until 2007,” said Brodnax-Martin. “Trust me you’ve never tasted anything like this blend of herbs and spices in a spirit, including wormwood and anise.”
