W. Bruce Wrenn joins Ameris Bank as Commercial Banker

COLUMBIA, SC – Ameris Bank Columbia Market President Mze Wilkins is excited to announce that W. Bruce Wrenn has joined the Columbia banking team as a commercial lender. He will focus on further developing commercial banking relationships through the growth of business deposits and loans.
“Bruce is a well-respected leader in the banking industry,” said Wilkins. “We are excited he has decided to join our banking team, and look forward to witnessing his continued success within our market.”
Prior to joining Ameris Bank, Wrenn served in various commercial banking and credit positions, most recently as senior vice president and commercial real estate business services officer for BB&T in Columbia.
Wrenn received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in History from Presbyterian College, in addition to a Masters of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Wrenn plays an active role in his community and is currently involved with a variety of organizations including the Urban Land Institute, Bradley Elementary Lunch Buddies, and is a member of the Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
