Waterloo Elementary School Launches “Change for Change” Diabetes Research Fundraiser

November is National Diabetes Awareness month.
On Monday, November 29th Waterloo Elementary School will kick of a week long campaign to raise money for diabetes research. At 8:15 Monday morning the school will have a school walk and to launch their “change for change” campaign. The walk and campaign will bring awareness to diabetes.
Waterloo Elementary School has a student who suffers from diabetes and it has altered her life. She will serve as our grand marshal of the walk. Students will bring in coins “change” from November 29 through December 3rd. The school will make a donation diabetes research on behalf of our student and Waterloo Elementary School.
