Whitley Named to Conway, South Carolina’s Community Appearance Board

CONWAY, SC – Heather A. Whitley, of Crady’s Eclectic Cuisine in downtown, Conway, South Carolina has been named to the Community Appearance Board for the City of Conway. The board, which is responsible for preserving the historical aspects of the City and upholding design guidelines, is in charge of permits for signage, landscaping, new construction, and building additions, alterations and/or demolitions.

“As the owner of a business located in our beautiful, historic downtown, I feel a sense of pride in serving on this committee and in assisting the City in its historical preservation. It is an honor to work and live in such a beautiful place and it is the responsibility of both our businesses and citizens to preserve its heritage,” said Heather Whitley.

Active in numerous civic and community organizations, Whitley is a member of Conway Downtown Alive and currently serves on its Board of Directors.  In addition to a number of restaurant-related associations, she is a talented member of Vocal Edition, a professional and nationally acclaimed choral ensemble based in Myrtle Beach, SC.
