Women Giving for Spartanburg now accepting 2016 grant requests

October 20, 2015

SPARTANBURG, SC – Women Giving for Spartanburg (WGFS) enters its ninth year of giving, inviting area nonprofit organizations to apply for a 2016 grant.

“I encourage all nonprofit organizations serving Spartanburg County to apply for a Women Giving for Spartanburg grant. We are dedicated to giving back to the community in a number of critical needs areas with the goal of improving the greater Spartanburg area through the impact of collective giving,” said Loreta Dylgjeri, Chair of the Women Giving for Spartanburg Grants Committee.

Nonprofit organizations applying for a WGFS grant must request high-impact grants of $25,000 and above each year. As in the past two grant cycles, there will be a grant awarded in each Indicator Area as outlined by The Spartanburg Community Indicators Project. Women Giving for Spartanburg encourages eligible nonprofit organizations to apply for a grant by visiting www.womengivingforspartanburg.org and following the link to complete an online application.
