XXX-Rated Business Strategies – The choreography of sales

The choreography of sales
Remember visiting a top flight, well-run restaurant?
Valet parking, Seating by reservation only.
Subdued music. Intimate lighting. Rich aromas.
You were welcomed as someone special.
You were shown to your table as a valued guest.
Your host introduced your waitress to you by name.
He probably said, “Elsa will take special care of you.
“She is one of our best, Mr. (or Mrs.)” and your name.
.
Elsa produced a wine list and recommended two.
Red if you preferred beef, white with fish or fowl.
She also offered to bring you a cocktail first.
Then she disappeared while you studied the menu.
In what seemed like seconds your cocktails arrived.
Elsa was dressed in a seductive uniform.
It wasn’t provocative, just fashionably suggestive.
It showed her figure to its best advantage.
It would not offend or threaten a female guest.
But it would command the attention of most males.
.
This is carefully designed sales choreography.
And it can be designed for any business or practice.
Take my dentist, Greg Wych, for example.
His reception area looks like a living room.
Soft music. Comfortable furnishings, His books.
Yes, his books. We’ve published two for him.
You’re hardly seated until his hygienist appears.
“We’re ready for you, Mr. Bellune,” Beth says.
If it’s not for a cleaning, a dental assistant appears.
She gives the same greeting and guides me inside.
.
Until the moment I leave, everything is rehearsed.
It’s smooth as silk. A great experience.
Greg learned his from Sydney Biddle Barrows.
She teaches owners how to do it for their clients.
Can you do it? You bet. What’s important is:
Who you hire? How you train them? How they look?
How they work with your clients and prospects?

All of us can learn a lot from Sydney Barrows.
I recommend two of her books to you:
“The Mayflower Madam” tells how she did it.
“Uncensored Sales Strategies” tells how you can, too.
Both are available at Amazon or your bookseller.
