ZeOmega impacting heart health in the Midlands

The American Heart Association announced ZeOmega’s commitment to address heart health through the Midlands Heart Ball campaign.
The Midlands Heart Ball has always been more than just an event, it is a symbol of a passionate community that is committed to saving and improving lives from heart disease and stroke. While the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to change schedules and routines, the American Heart Association is undeterred in its mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
Although the 2021 Heart Ball was not a traditional event, it still brought the Midlands community together to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke and raise money for research. The funds raised by the Heart Ball go toward local community outreach efforts to educate the public about heart disease, including CHD, stroke, and toward critical cardiovascular research.
As part of their continued partnership with one of the largest health plans in South Carolina, ZeOmega, served as the in-home dinner sponsor of the Midlands Heart Ball, and provided attendees across the Midlands a way to safely participate in the event from the comfort of their homes, while still raising much needed support and funds for the American Heart Association.

The Midlands Heart Ball is an annual event dedicated to sparking awareness and raising funds to fight the nation’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers – cardiovascular diseases and stroke. This event is an opportunity to celebrate advances in the fight, celebrate the lives of survivors, and unite our community toward a healthier, happier future.
