One of the nation’s largest plaintiffs’ litigation firms, Motley Rice LLC, has entered a consulting agreement with attorney Markus Green of MG Law & Consulting LLC. Green will collaborate with Motley Rice regarding its representation of state attorneys general, other governmental agencies, and municipalities seeking to protect their residents, patients, consumers and public funds. Leveraging his extensive global experience, Green will also work with Motley Rice’s human rights and abuse attorneys.

For 18 years, Green helped lead the Government Litigation Group of the legal department at Pfizer, working with local state and federal prosecutors both nationally and internationally. He also handled Congressional inquiries and investigations and managed the Attorney General Outreach Program.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Green dedicated nearly a decade to public service including five years as Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, where he oversaw thousands of employees in the Department of Law and Public Safety and managed complex civil and criminal litigation matters. As a former Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office under Robert M. Morgenthau he was assigned to the trial division prosecuting both misdemeanors and serious violent felonies before joining the Special Prosecutions Unit where he handled complex white collar fraud matters.

Green is treasurer of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Board of Directors, on the Attorney General Alliance (AGA) Advisory Board and on the Appleseed Network Board of Directors. He holds a Bachelor of Science summa cum laude from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Juris Doctor with Honors from Rutgers University School of Law.
