Wayne Hipp Sworn in as District 10 Commander of American Legion

At a ceremony held last Saturday at Post 22 in Union, newly elected District 10 Commander Wayne Hipp took his oath of office, administered by State First Vice Commander Jim Rabon. Former District Commander Doug Dilleshaw was present to witness the event. Hipp, a member of the American Legion Copeland-Davidson Post 56 in Clinton, steps into his new role with a commitment to serve and support local veterans.

District 10 encompasses American Legion Posts in the communities of Union, Laurens, Chester, Clinton, Whitmire, Buffalo, and Jonesville. As Commander, Hipp aims to foster camaraderie among members and enhance the Legion’s presence in these communities.
