GADC Adds Jackie Antunes to Team
September 26, 2013GREENVILLE, SC – September 26, 2013 – The Greenville Area Development Corporation, the county-chartered organization tasked with promoting and enhancing the economic growth of Greenville County, has added Jackie Antunes as an intern for Fall 2013. Her internship will focus on supporting the GADC’s social media marketing efforts.
Ms. Antunes joins the GADC from Clemson University, where she is a senior majoring in Environmental and Natural Resources with a concentration in Economic Policy. During her college career, Ms. Antunes has held a number of positions and internships dealing with public relations and social media. She previously interned at the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, SC where she helped to implement the aquarium’s social media strategies. Ms. Antunes currently serves as assistant public relations chair for her sorority, promoting and publicizing important events throughout the year.
A social media initiative that is integrated with our overall marketing strategies is critical to ensuring that the GADC’s web presence continues to grow in strength and efficiency with our target audiences, said Kevin Landmesser, GADC Interim President & CEO.
