Lourie Center celebrates National Senior Center Month

August 28, 2017

Each September the Lourie Center, along with other National Institute of Senior Centers (NISC) members, celebrates National Senior Center Month. The 2017 theme is: Senior Centers: Masters in Aging!

Aging masterfully is what many older adults wish to achieve at senior centers.  Through engaging in fitness classes, social activities, or a variety of educational programs, Lourie Center members continue to set the example for aging masterfully.  The Lourie Center encourages older adults to remain physically and socially active to remain independent for as long as possible.
