Donald Button Joins WARREN as Senior Consulting Engineer

COLUMBIA, SC – November 18, 2013 – WARREN, a forensic engineering and consulting firm based in Columbia, SC, announces the addition of Senior Consulting Engineer Donald D. Button, P.E., CFEI to its team of experts.

WARREN provides technical investigations and analysis of personal injury and property claims as well as expert testimony for insurance adjusters and attorneys. Extremely well versed in the disciplines of mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire and explosion investigation, WARREN’s engineers are known for delivering the truth – origin, cause, responsibility and cost of an event or claim – with unmistakable clarity.

Button specializes in fire cause and origin investigations particularly those where electrical equipment is suspect.

Button brings to WARREN a total of 32 years of electrical engineering experience, which includes eight years in the Forensic Engineering field. Button also holds a certification as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. His prior forensic engineering experience includes work at Unified Investigations and Sciences Inc., Nelson Architectural Engineers, and Forensic and Scientific Testing, Inc. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in 24 southern and mid-western states.

Button can respond to a client’s need for a quick-response fire investigation, an electrical failure analysis of the loss location, and performance of all potential litigation steps that may develop from the case, up to and including courtroom trial testimony.
