The Para Marketing Company Wins 2013 Palmetto Pillar Award – Start-up Venture

COLUMBIA, SC – August 14, 2013 – The Para Marketing Company received the 2013 Palmetto Pillar Award for Start-up Venture, given by the Information Technology Council of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce at the Columbia Marriott yesterday.

For 15 years, the Palmetto Pillar Awards have recognized businesses and individuals throughout the Greater Midlands for their vision, leadership, and support of technology initiatives in the region.  Honoring technology firms in 8 different categories, the awards are among the most prestigious given in the Midlands.

The Para Marketing Company was chosen as the winner of the Start-up Venture award for their use of innovative technology in cohesive marketing campaigns for their clients.  We are extremely honored to be recognized by the Chamber and the Midlands business community.  We are excited to be introducing Midlands businesses to new technologies that can help them grow, says Nathan Halydier, co-founder and CEO of The Para Marketing Company. 

Candidates for The Palmetto Pillar Awards were nominated by the public, and finalists and winners were then chosen by the Information Technology Council.  Finalists in other categories included Palmetto Health, Colonial Life, and Midlands Technical College.
