Glasses Get Hip: Main Street Boutique Brings Fashion Back to Eyewear
February 8, 2008COLUMBIA, SC – February 8, 2008 – WHAT: Grand Opening of fashion eyewear boutique Frame of Mind (FOM), featuring hors d’oeuvres, designer frame representatives and a drawing to win a pair of Gucci sunglasses. Guests can browse exclusive acetate and metal frames from European designers including Theo, Anne et Valentin, Gucci, IC Berlin and Yves St. Laurent while sipping cocktails along the shop’s green spiral staircase or street tent.
AN EYE TOWARD GIVING: Five percent of all frame sales from Saturday’s event will be donated to the Commission for the Blind. Customers can also trade in their old frames for a 10 percent discount (two or more pairs will garner a 15 percent discount!), and Frame of Mind will donate the old glasses to the Lion’s Club which helps those in need.
