Elyse Welch elected Sponsorship Chair of CREW Charleston

Colliers International’s Elyse Welch, CCIM was recently elected Sponsorship Chair of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Charleston chapter. CREW is a national organization dedicated to connecting and developing leaders among women in the commercial real estate industry. The leadership position is another major achievement for Welch, who earned the prestigious CCIM designation earlier this year.
As Chair of the Sponsorship Committee, Welch will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors who want to support CREW’s mission and events, preparing a strategic plan to steer the sponsorship process, setting sponsorship goals, allocating sponsorship funds and preparing and implementing a marketing strategy to reach sponsorship targets.
Welch joined Colliers in 2012 as a Brokerage Associate with the Retail Services Group. In Charleston, she and John Orr focus on landlord representation of investment-grade retail product, select marquee tenant representation and development services. Welch is an integral part of the team’s Leasing and Landlord services, from cultivating deals to closing them. Welch works closely with landlords to achieve goals and bring assets and portfolios to their full potential. In her time with Colliers, she has been repeatedly recognized for her professional accomplishments, most recently as a recipient, along with Orr, of Colliers International South Carolina’s Most Generated Referrals Award for 2015.
