Trident Technical College Offers Culinary Classes For Kids

CHARLESTON, SC – Trident Technical College Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development is pleased to offer through its Kids’ College program, a variety of culinary classes designed specifically for children. Parents are welcome to join the class and assist their child. All classes meet on the Main Campus of Trident Technical College at 7000 Rivers Ave. in North Charleston.
Spring 2015 classes include:

    • Cupcake Heaven: Let them eat cupcakes…and cupcakes! Decorate beautiful cupcakes for Valentine’s Day! Class for ages 8-16 meets on Feb. 7, 2015 from 10 a.m.-noon; costs $39 per student.
    • Chopped: Just like the TV show, campers are challenged to take a mystery basket of ingredients and turn them into a dish that is judged on creativity, presentation and taste with minimal timeto plan and execute. Class for ages 8-11 meets on Feb. 28, 2015 from 9 a.m.-noon; class for ages 12-16 meets on March 28, 2015 from 9 a.m.-noon. Each class costs $49 per student.
    • Easter Bunny’s Bake Shop: If your children are eagerly hippity hopping around the house waiting for Easter, come to TTC’s Bunny Bake Shop to create sweets for the holiday season. Decorate Easter bunny treats such as crispy egg nesters, chicks and more. Class for ages 8-11 meets on March 28, 2015 from 10 a.m.-noon; costs $39 per student.
