Engenius donated more than $50,000 in 2014

December 18, 2014

GREENVILLE, SC – Web marketing and design firm, Engenius, donated more than $50,000 in services to Upstate nonprofits in 2014.

“As a firm, we have been very fortunate,” said Chris Manley, Engenius’ managing partner. “Because of that, we look for ways to give back and serve the community that supports us.”

A large part of these services came from Engenius Grants, where two local non-profit organizations receive a fully developed website, an annual marketing consultation, access to workshops and seminars, and ongoing hosting and maintenance. The value of these grants is more than $12,000. The 2014 winners were The Warehouse Theatre (www.warehousetheatre.com) and Soteria Community Development Corporation (www.soteriacdc.org).

The Engenius Grants began in 2010 and awards annual grants of in-kind web design and marketing services to Upstate South Carolina non-profit organizations, Manley said. It is part of Engenius’ larger mission to balance business with serving the community through unique partnerships.

However, the firm goes beyond just the grants, Manley said. It worked on several projects that provided pro-bono services to businesses looking to revamp outdated websites.
