The state’s longest-running fatherhood organization, the SC Center for Fathers and Families is all about recognizing the unlimited potential of dads. By 2022, as they celebrate their 20th anniversary, more than 25,000 fathers had completed their programs helping dads overcome obstacles to being responsible and nurturing role models for their kids.
The Center supports six fatherhood programs across the state while promoting father-friendly policies and practices and helping to erase society’s negative stereotypes of unwed, low-income dads.
