Clarity opened its doors in 1948 as the Greenville Hearing Society. It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that serves over 2,000 adults and children annually with 70% of the pediatric clients being considered low-income. Clarity’s mission is to enhance communication and wellbeing of children and adults through specialized evaluations and therapeutic supports while empowering people to overcome speech, hearing, learning, social, and emotional challenges. We exist to help our clients realize their potential, overcome their challenges, and improve their quality of life.
Clarity is an in-network provider for multiple insurance plans including Medicaid. Their financial support comes from service fees paid for services by individuals, insurance providers, Medicaid, and other third-party providers. Additionally, they receive support from grants, individuals and corporate donors, and local fundraisers to ensure our services remain accessible to those who cannot afford to pay full fees.
