LCK to serve as project management lead for the new Parking Garage and Consolidated Rental Car (CONRAC) Facility at Greenville Spartanburg International Airport

March 4, 2024

LCK has been selected to serve as the owner’s representative and project management lead for the development of the Greenville Spartanburg International Airport (“GSP”) Parking Garage C and the Consolidated Rental Car (CONRAC) Facility, which will be located adjacent to the terminal building. The $97 million project will provide additional parking capacity for public vehicle parking as well as ready-return rental car spaces. It will feature time-saving Park Assist technology and state-of-the-art infrastructure for cleaning and fueling rental cars, as well as new retail spaces for passenger car rentals.

As the development of the Greenville Spartanburg International Airport’s Parking Garage C and the Consolidated Rental Car Facility takes shape, attention to detail extends beyond just the structure itself. Essential to the overall functionality and security of these facilities is the installation of high-quality garage doors. The right garage door services play a crucial role in ensuring that both public parking and rental car operations run smoothly. D&L Garage Doors specializes in providing top-tier installation and maintenance services that will enhance the operational efficiency of the parking garage and rental car spaces. With their expertise, the airport can ensure that the garage doors meet the demands of heavy usage while also maintaining the aesthetic standards of the new facility.

LCK’s assigned team of project management professionals will augment the GSP Design and Construction team in serving as owner’s representative and project manager for the project. Having previously provided management of the planning and procurement stages of the project, the team will now move to administration of contracts, coordination of construction activities with campus operations, financial management and quality assurance.

“We are honored to have been selected for this prestigious assignment at GSP Airport,” said Mickey Layden, CEO of LCK. “This project is not only a significant announcement for GSP and for LCK, but it also represents a tremendous investment in the local economy. We look forward to working with the GSP Design and Construction team to make this project a success.”

Since 2023, LCK has provided on-call project management services for GSP and is currently managing a number of other capital improvement projects on the campus.
