The Design Room at Unclaimed Furniture opened its doors on September 3 at 228 Trade St, Greer Station, offering a new destination for custom furniture and unique home décor. The showroom showcases a diverse selection of stylish accents, timeless classics, and statement pieces, catering to a variety of tastes and budgets.

The Design Room, an extension of Unclaimed Furniture, features curated gifts and handmade items alongside its furniture offerings. This new location is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Unclaimed Furniture, a family-owned business established in 1991, operates its original store at 198 Plemmons Road in Duncan, S.C. The Design Room continues the family tradition of providing quality and unique home furnishings.

The new store is situated in the Greer Downtown Historic District, known for its concentration of early twentieth-century architecture. The area, historically referred to as “Greers Station,” was founded in 1873 along the Atlanta Charlotte Air Line Railroad. The town was officially incorporated as Greers in 1876 and later became known as Greer.
