Image Studios is coming to the BullStreet District this fall

The redefinition of the way beauty professionals work and thrive is coming to Columbia, S.C. IMAGE Studios® is slated to open its first luxury salon studio in Columbia this November in a 5,700 sq. ft. space in the First Base Building at Segra Park, the geographic center of the BullStreet District.
The salon studio will provide a platform for local beauty professionals to own and operate their own fully equipped mini-salon suites. The suites are private, customizable spaces that offer unparalleled freedom and autonomy.
Ultimately, IMAGE Studios® will be home to 29 independent entrepreneurs providing clients from across the Midlands with a full range of high-end luxury services, including hair stylists, estheticians, massage therapists, MedSpa professionals, nail technicians, microblading artists, lash technicians and makeup artists.

Stovall said a major selling point is the BullStreet District itself. “The experience doesn’t necessarily begin and end at Image Studio,” he said. “There are a lot of neat things clients can do within walking distance, from having lunch to shopping. It’s just going to get better as development continues.”

Image Studios will occupy retail space on the ground floor of the First Base Building and will be adjacent to Founders Federal Credit Union and the BullStreet District’s leasing office. The First Base Building, one of the largest private office buildings in Columbia, is also home to global tech giant Capgemini, Ogletree Deakins law firm, Central Carolina Community Foundation and Scout Motors’ temporary Columbia headquarters.
