B2E Mobile Financial Services Gets Ultra Secure IT Infrastructure from PTG

GREENVILLE, SC – November 12, 2008 – – PTG, a Microsoft Certified Partner and VMware Enterprise Partner recently completed the build-out of B2E’s IT infrastructure including set-up of key technology security and communication protocols. For B2E’s newly established corporate office, PTG configured a Microsoft Windows Server environment leveraging Active Directory to meet the business’ requirements of multiple levels of security. PTG also took responsibility to establish B2E’s domain for networking needs and their exchange server. Email accounts, the company intranet and VoIP were all developed as part of the overall IT infrastructure build project. Additionally, PTG installed anti-virus software, spam and adware protection for all PC’s and the company network along with firewall protection utilizing the exchange server tools.
As a result, B2E now has a fully secure networking environment that allows employees to seamlessly share data and collaborate between branch locations. The centralized configuration enables B2E to securely store company data in one location which gives employees the ability to quickly find the information they need when they need it. With the shared document management system, B2E can easily and reliably back-up critical data gathered from multiple branches into the central location in their Greenville, South Carolina headquarters.
