Company serves as full conference sponsor, presents educational sessions, and demonstrates new solutions

CHARLESTON, SC – April 11th – 14th, 2010 – Blackbaud, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLKB) will once again be the full conference sponsor of the 47th Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) International Conference on Fundraising on April 11 to 14 in Baltimore, Maryland, with a focus on Honoring Our Past… Inspiring Our Future.

We are honored to be a part of this celebration of fundraising and congratulate AFP on 50 years of excellence in empowering fundraisers through professional development, said Marc Chardon, Blackbaud’s chief executive officer. We are pleased to be a longstanding partner of AFP and know that this year’s Conference will provide unparalleled learning opportunities for fundraising strategies of the future.

Blackbaud leads the 50th anniversary celebration with:

• Educational sessions led by Blackbaud nonprofit experts:

Everything You Need to Know About Measuring Online Results but Were Afraid to Ask
Steve MacLaughlin, Blackbaud’s director of Internet solutions
        Monday, April 12, 1:15 – 2:30 p.m.; Ballroom 4
What to count? How to count it? And how are other nonprofits doing? There are almost as many metrics for measuring online success as there are questions about the subject. This session will cover web, email, social media and multi-channel metrics and explain the whats, hows, and whys for measuring them successfully. The audience will understand the facts and fiction about online metrics, learn the right and wrong things to measure, and how to get more out of their metrics than ever before.

Emergent Philanthropists: America’s Evolving Ethnic Donor Groups
Katherine Swank, Consultant, Target Analytics, a Blackbaud Company
        Monday, April 12, 1:15 – 2:30 p.m.; Room 315
Ethnic groups have their own societal and philanthropic objectives and they are not always comparable to those of our  traditional donors. Philanthropy means more than giving money. African-Americans, Asian-Americans and Hispanic-Heritage-Americans are ready to take their place as major contributors in society, but many organizations do not yet know how to effectively engage their interest.

The State of European Fundraising and What the U.S. Can Learn from It
Andrew Mosawi, Blackbaud’s vice president of international business development
        Tuesday, April 13, 3 – 4:15 p.m.; Rooms 318-320
Fundraising trends emerging throughout Europe are affecting what is happening to philanthropy around the rest of theworld, especially in the United States. SONI (State of the Nonprofit Industry) is the leading market research survey of several thousand fundraising organizations across multiple countries in Europe. The survey focuses on issues critical to today’s nonprofits, including data collected on operational issues, technology, accountability and fundraising. In this session, Andrew will take a deep dive into one of the most comprehensive surveys on cross-border philanthropy and share stories on what these trends mean to nonprofits around the world and how to take these research findings to enhance prospecting, donor profiling, and ultimately, securing gifts.
