Carolina Event Consultants, LLC. Opens its Doors

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Local event planner Nancye Bailey opens Carolina Event Consultants, LLC. (CEC)

Founded in 2006 by Nancye Bailey, CEC provides initial consultations, site selection, vendor coordination, and on-site event management. Bailey’s clients include non-profit organizations, corporations, associations and individuals.

In today’s world of downsizing, in-house event managers are hard to justify, said Bailey. CEC is the perfect solution for companies who find themselves in need of event services but cannot afford to have someone on staff full-time.

Another service offered by CEC is Destination Management. Out-of-state companies that are planning meetings in Columbia and the surrounding areas can benefit from having a local contact who can work with the venues and vendors on their behalf.

Bailey has more than seven years experience in event management. Her career started when she was volunteering for local organizations planning and executing fundraisers, meetings, and other events. Eventually she began accepting freelance work in the industry and opened Carolina Event Consultants in the fall of 2006.
