Chernoff Newman Dominates 2011 Addys with 19 Awards

CHARLESTON, SC – March 4, 2011 – Chernoff Newmandominated the 2011 Addy Awards presented by the American AdvertisingAssociation of the Midlands, winning a total of 19 awards, including “Best ofInteractive” and “Best of Print.” A montage of the agency’s winning work can beseen at http://www.youtube.com/chernoffnewman.

The agency was award “Best of Interactive” forthe second consecutive year. This year’s award is for Riverbanks’ comPOOstwebsite (http://www.compoost.org). Chernoff Newman wonthree of the four awards given for interactive media. In addition to thecomPOOst site, the agency won Silver Addys for websites created for ThreatManagement Group (http://threatgroup.com) and Rioux Properties (http://visitwmc.com/).The agency’s mixed media campaign for the American Cancer Society Paws for theCause (http://pawsforthecausecolumbia.org/) alsoincluded interactive elements.

The agency received an additional 12 Silver Addysfor work on behalf of American Cancer Society, DP&L, Rioux Properties,Force Protection, Greenwood Genetic Center, IT-ology, Palmetto Health,Riverbanks Zoo & Garden and Threat Management Group.
