Chips and Tips Event: Affordable Pet Care in Clinton

Attention pet owners! Mark your calendars for the upcoming Chips and Tips Event on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 2pm to 3pm at 793 Poplar Street in Clinton. This event hosted by the Laurens County Humane Society offers a range of essential pet services at special discounted rates, aimed at ensuring the health and well-being of our furry friends.

The event will feature a variety of services including nail trims, vaccinations (such as rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm testing and prevention, flea/tick medication, feline vaccinations, and deworming treatments. Here’s a breakdown of the services and costs:

  • Nail Trim – $10
  • Rabies Vaccination – $10
  • DHPP Vaccination – $15
  • Bordetella Vaccination – $12
  • Microchipping – $20
  • Heartworm Testing – $14
  • Heartworm Prevention (1 month) – $10/pill
  • Flea/Tick Medication (1 month) – $20/pill
  • Feline FVRCP Vaccination – $12
  • Dewormer (hooks/rounds) – $5

To participate, please note the following:

  • All animals must show proof of current rabies vaccination or will need to purchase it at the event.
  • Payment can be made in cash or card (with a $5 card transaction fee).
  • No appointments are necessary.
  • All breeds and even rabbits are welcome!
  • There are no limits per household, and residents from any county can attend.

During the event, pet owners are kindly requested to follow a few guidelines:

  • Park in designated areas.
  • Leave pets in vehicles upon arrival.
  • Check in at the building entrance.
  • Services will be rendered on a first come, first serve basis.
  • Cats and rabbits should be in carriers, and dogs on leash or in carriers.
  • Please be patient and courteous to ensure a smooth experience for all.
