Clinton Red Devils Set to Compete in Chapin Kickoff Classic on August 16

The Clinton Red Devil varsity football team is gearing up to take part in the Chapin Kickoff Classic on Friday, August 16. The event, hosted at Chapin High School, will begin at 6:00 PM, with the Red Devils scheduled to face off against Blythewood at approximately 7:30 PM.

Advance tickets for the event are available for $5 each, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Clinton High School (CHS) football program. Tickets can be purchased from Mrs. Kathy Schumpert in the CHS Athletics office, at Arthur State Bank, or directly from varsity football players. For those purchasing tickets at the gate, the price will be $7, though CHS will only receive a small portion of those sales. SCHSL passes will be accepted at the event.

Jamboree Matchups:

• 6:00 PM: Gray Collegiate vs. American Leadership
• 6:45 PM: Spring Valley vs. Midland Valley
• 7:30 PM: Clinton vs. Blythewood
• 8:15 PM: Chapin vs. Ridge View

Please note that start times after the first game are approximate, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to catch all the action. Clinton High School is one of the home teams for the event.
