CMARK International, Inc. Announces Record High 1st Half 2009 Sales
August 3, 2009COLUMBIA, SC – August 3, 2009 – CMARK International, Inc., a global provider of facility and logistic support services for government and commercial institutions, has finished the first 6 months of 2009 with record sales volume of $9.3 mm.
CMARK’s sales increased 22% from the same period in 2008, 141% from the same period in 2007, and 181% over 2006. The increase in sales was broad-based geographically as well as from a product mix of general construction, food service equipment, and furnishings.
The company is again on track with its expanding product base and marketplace reach. Given the fact that the sales during first half of the calendar year are typically weak compared to the second half where the U.S. Government peaks in its fiscal year end (September 30th) spending, the company is poised for a strong 2009, said Charles Jones, President and CEO of CMARK.
We are continuing to spend considerable resource in product and infrastructure development, and considering the current and projected future strength of the U.S. government marketplace we feel we have the necessary strategy to continue our growth plans.
CMARK is a licensed general contractor and architectural firm with a history of construction and design projects for U.S. government facilities.
