Colliers and LCK staff across South Carolina participated in a “Warming Hearts” United Way campaign to raise funds, collect winter clothing and volunteer for local non-profits

Charleston/Columbia/Greenville/Spartanburg, SC – Colliers | South Carolina and LCK staff and the company have pledged $101,783 in contributions to United Way of Greenville County, United Way of the Midlands, United Way of the Piedmont and Trident United Way. The pledges reflect a per capita contribution of $665.

This year, Colliers’ and LCK’s campaign theme was “Warming Hearts in South Carolina,” a giving campaign focused on helping the homeless population. In addition to dollars raised, the company’s employees collected 874 winter clothing items for local organizations: The Hope Center in Charleston, Greer Relief & Resources Agency and A Child’s Haven in Greenville-Spartanburg, and Transitions Homeless Center and Cooperative Ministry in Columbia.

Additionally, the company held a Day of Service in which 74 staff members participated for a total of 368 community service hours. The Charleston office prepped nearly 700 meals and served breakfast for Meals on Wheels, the Greenville and Spartanburg offices revived outdoor storage space and organized clothing donations for Greer Relief & Resources Agency, and the Columbia office performed landscape work and painting for Transitions Homeless Center. Additionally, the Columbia office partnered with Yellowstone Landscaping which donated supplies and labor at Transitions to complete landscaping work.

“I am incredibly proud of our team members for living out one of our core values of ‘Community’ and pledging over $100,000 to local United Way organizations for the second year in a row,” said John W. Folsom, President and CEO of Colliers | South Carolina. “Additionally, our team members more than doubled their community service hours from last year and the winter clothing items donated will make a tremendous impact on our local homeless populations. Together, we can help make a difference in our communities.”

The two-week giving campaign was kicked off by a virtual meeting of the four offices. View the company’s campaign video produced in-house that features Colliers and LCK staff and showcases the company’s collaboration, creativity and commitment to serving local communities: Watch here
