Creativity and Collaboration on Full Display in Clinton
March 28, 2022Some of the best ideas come from collaboration. That’s exactly what happened recently when Berkshire Hathaway Home Services and the artists of T.A.G. collaborated to create the Uptown Window Project.
Uptown Window Project is providing unique exhibit space in storefront windows in the uptown area of Clinton. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services is sponsoring the project in hopes of drawing attention to available buildings in the city.
T.A.G. is “The Art Group” that was formed in 2019 during a fundraiser by Clinton Canopy for the completion of the mural by Janette Marvin & Anne Lane on Musgrove Street. The Art Group met once a month in-person until Covid-19 caused a lockdown, and since then, T.A.G. has met online and continued to grow in numbers.
Eleven T.A.G. artists are displaying paintings, jewelry, and craftwork for sale. The artists currently participating are:
- John Uldrick
- Daria Cronic
- Jodie Hatcher
- Linda Shultz
- Amanda Kommers
- Debbie Ober
- Wesley Harrell
- Amaryllis Turman
- Judith Brown
- Chasity Rowell
- Jamie Stewart
The artwork is currently displayed in windows located at 111 North Broad Street, 200 West Main Street, and 110 Musgrove Street, but more locations may be added in the coming weeks.
The public is encouraged to stroll the uptown area, enjoy the art, and make contact if interested in purchasing artwork. The work will be on exhibit until late April.
Thank you T.A.G. and Berkshire Hathaway C. Dan Joyner Realtors for the great use of space and for highlighting the talent of local artists. It’s a win for everyone.
