COLUMBIA, SC – May 8, 2008 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting and business advisory firms in the Southeast, recently introduced a new service offering that targets international tax issues. The firm’s newly formed International Tax Services group delivers a broad range of services designed to help companies integrate tax planning into their business strategy and comply with the complexities of foreign tax and regulatory rules.
Kay Biscopink, CPA, senior manager in the firm’s tax services group, leads the International Tax Services group. She advises companies and individuals on a broad range of inbound and outbound tax issues. The ultimate goal is to help clients understand the implications of international tax developments and ultimately manage tax obligations in the most effective manner. Beyond helping clients understand local and international tax issues, the International Tax Services group offers clients a plan for operating legally and successfully in a new country. The practice includes face-to-face consultations with local and oversees offices.

Biscopink, a licensed CPA in South Carolina and Oklahoma, is based in Elliott Davis’ headquarters in Greenville, S.C. With more than 20 years experience in public and private accounting, she focuses primarily on the worldwide activities of multinational corporations and individuals. Prior to joining Elliott Davis, Biscopink was employed as a tax specialist for Arthur Andersen LLP in Oklahoma City where she focused on providing international tax planning and compliance services. In addition, Biscopink advises clients that may be conducting international commerce, establishing manufacturing operations overseas, or developing policies and procedures for employees in foreign locations.
Biscopink earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma, a bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in science from the University of Louisville. She is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She also serves as a member of the Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium (GAMAC) Guild, the Anderson County Medical Society Alliance, and the Kiwanis International of Anderson. Biscopink is past president of the St. Joseph Catholic School Board in Anderson, S.C.
