Engenius’ CEO Chris Manley named SC Biz News’ 2022 Icons and Phenoms honoree

Engenius CEO Chris Manley was selected as an honoree for SC Biz News’ 2022 Icons and Phenoms Awards program. Honorees were nominated by the community and were evaluated and selected by a panel of judges who were looking for strong business leaders with boundless creativity and commitment to service. Manley is CEO of Greenville-based Engenius Web Design & Digital Marketing, a company he co-founded in 2008.
Under Chris’ leadership, Engenius has won a variety of business awards and creative awards including the Greenville Chamber Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award in 2018, Greenville Chamber Small Business of the Month in 2018, 2015, and 2012, and a 2022 ADDY® from the Greenville Chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
According to Manley, “This award would not have happened without the dedication and talents of countless colleagues and mentors who I have had the privilege to work alongside. I am so proud of what we have accomplished together to support the Upstate community. Thank you to SC Biz News for this honor.”
In 2006, Manley also founded Rebuild Upstate, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to repairing the homes of low-income neighbors in the Upstate and ensuring they live in safe, healthy homes. Manley oversaw the strategic vision & management of the organization as President/CEO from its founding in 2006 until mid-2022.
Under Manley’s leadership, Rebuild Upstate won the Greenville Chamber Max Heller Neighborhood Improvement Award in 2019, the Homebuilders Association of Greenville Dan Rawls Community Service Award, and a Best Practice in Volunteer Stewardship from ReFrame Association in 2018 and 2020.
