We would like to thank our sponsors of this video series:

George McLaughlin, CEO/Co-owner, Vicious Biscuit

George’s career began at McAlister’s Deli while he was a University of Mississippi student. Recognizing its potential, he stayed with the company after graduation and played a key role in establishing its franchise division. George then became the first McAlister’s Deli employee to become a franchisee, launching his initial franchise in Columbia, SC. He went on to open 16 more locations while managing three Italian Pie restaurants in South Carolina.

In 2008, George sold MAC Restaurant Corp. and ventured into other projects in South Carolina and Texas, notably founding Bottles Beverage Superstore in Charleston, SC.

In 2017, he embarked on a new culinary venture in Charleston, SC with partner Michael Greeley – Vicious Biscuit.

Vicious Biscuit is a family born business, rooted in the heart of the South where biscuits are king. It is a fast-casual restaurant dedicated to serving delicious, creatively crafted comfort meals that push the boundaries, all while ensuring their guests experience genuine Southern hospitality and an unforgettable dining experience.

Their mission is simple: to boldly revolutionize brunch, one biscuit at a time.

Later this month, the company is opening a location in Columbia, SC on Forest Drive.
