Erwin-Penland Promotes Three, Hires Five

GREENVILLE, SC – January 21, 2011 – Erwin-Penland (EP), a division of The Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday and one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast, has promoted Hillary Painter to account executive, Jessica Deuel to senior account executive and Kathryn Moore to account executive.  The agency also hired Chad Patterson, Bryant Lambert, Matt Whitehead, Rachel Wing and Whitney Fox.

Painter has been promoted from junior account executive and will now serve on the Verizon Telecommunications team.  She has been with the agency for two years and received her degree in business administration and marketing from the College of Charleston.

Deuel has been promoted from account executive after two years at the agency and will continue to work on the Verizon shopper marketing point-of-purchase team.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina.

Joining EP a year ago, Moore has been promoted from junior account executive and will continue her work on the Verizon Wireless digital systems team.  She is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, and went on to receive her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.

Patterson joins EP’s Experiential Branding team as a branding designer after serving as a freelance artist for several years.  He is a graduate of the Lyme Art Academy in Old Lyme, Conn.

Lambert arrives at EP as a junior account executive on the Verizon Communications team supporting regional executions for print, collateral and direct mail.  He previously served as the marketing intern at DNA Creative Communications.  He is a graduate of Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree    in communication studies.  

Whitehead joins the accounting department at EP after serving as a project controller for Alstom Power Inc., in Richmond, Va.  While living in Virginia, he received his qualifications to become a certified public accountant.  He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management. 

Wing is welcomed as the newest account executive on the Verizon digital systems team.  She previously worked as an account manager at Interactive Sites, a website design company in Scottsdale, Ariz.  She is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English language and literature. 

Fox joins EP’s Experiential Branding team as a spring intern, where she will assist managers in organizing, selecting and assigning materials for various projects.  She previously served as a graduate assistant in the graphic communications department at Clemson University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.
