Erwin-Penland Starts the New Year with Four New Hires, Two Promotions

GREENVILLE, SC – January 13, 2011 – Erwin-Penland (EP), a division of The Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday and one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast, has promoted Rebeca Ortega to account supervisor and Kimberly Langston to lead designer, and hired DeVona Mitchell, Julie Morsberger, Allen Vailliencourt and Kinley Cothran.
Ortega has been promoted from senior account executive and will continue her work on the Verizon Wireless shopper marketing team. She has been with the agency for two years and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising and photography from Michigan State University.
Recently celebrating her ninth anniversary at EP, Langston has been promoted from senior graphic designer and will continue to work on the Verizon Wireless account. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in art from Anderson University.
Mitchell joins the Verizon Wireless team as an associate print production manager. She is a Clemson University graduate with a degree in graphic communications.
Morsberger arrives at EP as a junior account executive on the Verizon Wireless team after serving as the marketing and sales coordinator for Clemson Tiger Sports Properties. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing.
Vailliencourt adds to the EP Verizon digital systems team as an infrastructure manager overseeing technology development and execution. Before arriving at EP he worked as a sales consultant for the Greenville branch of Find Great People. A graduate of Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Fla., he received his Bachelor of Science degree in management.
Cothran joins EP’s public relations team as a spring intern, where she assists with all of the agency’s PR clients. She previously worked as the marketing intern for Philadelphia-based firm Front Row Marketing Services. Cothran is a University of South Carolina graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports and entertainment management.
