Finalists named to get new, free web makeover

GREENVILLE, SC – And then were two. After receiving hundreds of nominations, Greenville-based web design and marketing firm Engenius has narrowed it down to two finalists who will receive new websites for free in the Upstate’s Worst Website competition.
The finalists are Outman Cigars, www.outmancigars.com, and AAA Fencecrafters, www.aaafencecrafters.com, said Chris Manley, Engenius’s managing partner.
“The goal of this contest has to been to help small businesses get a better website,” he said. “Now, it is up to the Upstate community to decide who gets it.”
Voting goes through August 8, 2014, and people can vote once each day at www.upstatesworstwebsite.com. A winner will be announced shortly after that and construction of the new site will begin.
“We encourage everyone to vote,” he said. “We’re excited to show people the transformation that a good website can mean for a business.”
