GET CONNECTED: 7th Annual Women in Business Conference

CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and Center for Women is pleased to announce Charlotte Beers as the keynote speaker at the 7th Annual Women in Business Conference. This premiere conference for women begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday February 24 at the Omar Shrine Auditorium in Mt. Pleasant, and will provide participants with direct access to other successful business leaders in the region.
 
Beers has served as chairman of two worldwide advertising agencies, been an Undersecretary of State, and was the first woman to appear on the cover of Fortune magazine. She will offer sophisticated guidance to businesswomen as an inside source who has been in the trenches. Beers will also be available to sign copies of her new book entitled I’d Rather Be in Charge. The book provides practical tools that can guide entrepreneurs through the challenges many professionals face when first starting out and attempting to grow their company.
 
This one-day event is for visionary women who want to discover the tools for success and make strategic business connections. As current and future business leaders, conference participants will be encouraged to celebrate creativity, embrace risk, and take actions that will positively impact their workplace and community.
