Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood Awarded Advanced Materials Center Streetscape

GREENVILLE, SC – April 14, 2011 – Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to complete the streetscape for the Clemson University Advanced Materials Center in Pendleton, South Carolina.
   
Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood will be completing Phase One of the Clemson University Advanced Materials Center Streetscape.  The project will encompass the design of improvements to sidewalks, crosswalks and landscaping along approximately 1,200 feet of Clemson Research Boulevard.  The project will feature a clean and elegant landscape design that utilizes sustainable design techniques, using native species to minimize the need for irrigation, while also incorporating pedestrian-friendly attributes.  Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood assisted Innovate Anderson in applying for SCDOT transportation enhancement funds.  Innovate Anderson and the SCDOT will jointly finance the project.
