Greenville County Redevelopment Authority Announces Leadership Transition

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville County Redevelopment Authority (GCRA) announces the departure of Martin Livingston, the organization’s executive director, on July 31. Livingston has chosen to take time from his career to focus on some important family responsibilities. “While we are sad to see Martin leave, we wish him the best in all his future endeavors,” shared GCRA Board Chairman, David Doser.
“We, at GCRA, hope the community will join us in thanking and recognizing, Martin for his exceptional leadership. Over the past ten years, Martin has been instrumental in guiding our organization toward its mission of improving the quality of life for the citizens of Greenville County through the implementation of innovative community development and revitalization strategies,” added Doser.
Under Livingston’s leadership, GCRA has consistently been recognized as one of the top community development organizations in South Carolina. Some of the most recent accolades include the following:

GCRA will begin a nationwide search for a new leader as it moves forward with a bright future. It will continue to focus on residential single-family and multifamily development, redevelopment and infill housing in GCRA’s neighborhoods, and seeking grants to help expand the organization’s impact throughout Greenville County.
