Groundbreaking of Sonny’s SportsPlex Indoor Courts Facility in Northeast Columbia

Hill Construction and Talmage Architects joined the owners of Sonny’s SportsPlex to officially break ground on Sonny’s SportsPlex, an indoor courts facility offering league play, open gym and personal training.
Located in Northeast Columbia, the facility will offer youth around the state to participate in year-round competitive sports for basketball and volleyball.
“We want to provide youth the opportunity to play on multiple competitive levels while creating an atmosphere of teamwork, dedication and hard work in the areas of basketball and volleyball,” said owner Jerrod Nimmons.
The 16,000 square foot facility will feature two full sized courts, concession area and will offer personal training and an open gym. Court rental time for teams to practice is also available. Sonny’s is expected to open in the Spring of 2018.
