Corps Seeks Public Comment on Harbor Project

CHARLESTON, SC – On Tuesday, December 13, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a workshop-style scoping meeting for the Charleston harbor deepening study. The meeting runs from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

This is the first in a series of opportunities for the public to learn about the study process and provide comments on the project. Members of the Corps’ project team will be on hand at various information stations describing the economics, engineering and environmental aspects of the study.

If you are in town, we encourage your attendance! The meeting will be in the Buyer Auditorim on the second floor of Mark Clark Hall at The Citadel, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

If you are unable to attend and submit your comments in person, there is an online form where you can send the Corps your input on the harbor project. Thank you for your support!
