Harbor View competing in Charleston Dragon Boat Festival

Who: Students, staff, parents, community members, and media outlets are welcome and encouraged to attend.

What: Harbor View Elementary School is participating in this weekend’s Charleston Dragon Boat Festival. A combined 22 teachers and staff members are on the team.

The school has participated in the Dragon Boat Festival since 2016 to support colleagues, friends, students, and families who have battled or are battling cancer. Their team’s name, “Hope Floats,” expresses the staff’s collective belief.

Students and parents from Harbor View are invited to cheer on the team.

When: Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
