Hood Construction named BIA of Central SC Commercial Contractor of the Year

Hood Construction is honored to have been named the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina’s Commercial Contractor of the Year. Criteria for the award, given at the annual BIA Holiday Ball on December 13th, include the company’s contribution toward the betterment of the BIA and representing the organization in an outstanding manner.

As a member of the BIA of Central SC, Hood has supported the Construction Workforce Training Coalition by providing job shadowing opportunities for high school students, as well as provided support for Centennial Park at Fort Jackson and Camp Cole. Mark Hood, President and CEO, also serves on the BIA of Central SC Board of Directors – one of his numerous community affiliations which include the Hammond School Board of Directors, Citizens for Sound Conservation, The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Board Chairman of the Oliver Gospel Mission.
