Registration is now OPEN for the Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation and Comcast Business Class 5th Annual Innovator’s Five:K! Downtown’s most anticipated, active networking event will take place on Thursday, April 21st at 6:30pm. This year’s event will continue to offer the same great scenic route, cool t-shirts and popular after-party at the Charleston Maritime Center hosted by Digital Corridor member, BoomTown.

The 2011 iFive:K is limited to the first 750 registrants. Registration before April 1, 2011 is only $25 and $30 therafter. There will be no race day registrations in 2011.

Go Team Go!!!

The iFive:K features a team component! Enter in teams of two, six or ten and compete to have your company/team name on the iFive:K’s Bragging Rights Trophy housed at the Digital Corridor’s headquarters. Participants entered as a team are also eligible for individual awards.

Attention Digital Corridor members: InfoTec is awarding a prize to the fastest runner of the top Digital Corridor member team in each team category – a $500 credit towards a professional certification! So make sure your company is obvious in your team name.

Warm up!

Digital Corridor Member eGroup is sponsoring three wellness runs to prepare participants for this year’s race. Each session will be led by Tyler Cross, personal trainer and member of the TrySports Running team, and conclude with a brief cool down – pizza, drinks and techniques. There is no fee associated with these wellness runs, however, space is limited to the first 15 participants registered for the 2011 iFive:K. Visit the Training Section of our website for more details.

digital corridor scholarship

The Charleston Digital Corridor is a creative effort to attract, nurture and promote Charleston’s knowledge economy. Recognizing that talent is the key driver of a knowledge economy, the Digital Corridor has developed the Digital Corridor Scholarship to benefit students seeking education in a technology-related field. A portion of the race’s proceeds will go to educate tomorrow’s innovators through this scholarship fund. ECPI College of Technology will provide two matching scholarships to their institution for students pursuing a technology degree.
