The Assessment and Evaluation Coordinator provides data-driven support for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance and Office of Institutional Planning and Research. Designs, coordinates, and administers institutional-level and program-level assessments. Responsible for survey creation and administration through Qualtrics or institutional portals. Coordinates standardized testing and course evaluations. Analyzes university data to inform campus stakeholders.
• Sequences, administers, and monitors course evaluations for all USC Upstate academic credit-bearing courses prior to the conclusion of each academic session through university systems.
• Coordinate the assessment processes (strategic plan, academic programs, non-academic units, and general education) for Institutional Effectiveness. Develops communications, distributes reporting information, and collects assessment instruments.
• Responsible for the development, compilation, analysis, and reporting of data from assessment documents, focus groups and qualitative methods, internal surveys using Qualtrics, and external surveys for various USC Upstate clients with analysis of assessment data and preparation of reports in narrative, numerical, and / or graphic form for communication to various stakeholders.
• Coordinate requests for administering Educational Testing Services (ETS), such as Major Field Tests, for academic units at USC Upstate.
• Assist with campus assessment design, development, and analysis. Coordinate special data projects for students, alumni, community, and other constituents as directed. Prepare and present reports communicating the results of data analysis.
• Provide administrative support for Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance and Institutional Planning and Research.
• Coordinate information updates for Institutional Effectiveness and Compliance and Institutional Planning and Research intranet and webpages.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of quantified data. A successful background check is required.
Salary Range: $45,133 – $51,000; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
